Life is a big river, some times it's the most beautiful place in the world, other days, you just have to go with the rapids and there'll be days you can't escape the falls. Today  feels like a strong rapids day thou.It's strange, as I sit here, at work colour correcting photos of three of the boys, out of six, who lost their lives in an accident last night (Sat 26 May), listening to Hinder's better than me, I feel void. I think about how short life is. So I decided to visit my past. I took this time to visit one of my very long lost... I don't think friend is the right word, but that is what he was, on hi5. And I went spiraling into my memories of him. Not all good but most were. It got me thinking how short life, love and friendships are.I myself have been batteling with how to deal with death, of recently my mom got sick,very sick, she was diagnosed with Diabetes and lost her toe to it. She healed. About a week ago she noticed her foot starting to swell, when we went to the doctor, he said, it was infected for the second time. She did not take the news well, she is depressed but she is try to save face, I can tell. She is better but not out of the woods yet. So we wait and watch. Its so strange, my mom is one of the healthiest persons I know, she's clean, she's a vegan, she exercises every day, she doesn't smoke or drink. Its wierd.I also went to the doc and found out that I can't have kids.Its sad, it's sad because, now that I have reached a place in my life that I want to be, there will still be something missing.Cherish the people you love, feel compassion for those you despise and most importantly don't take anyone for granted, cause one day it will be to late.Love allV.
